Nestled in the heart of Rueda D.O. (Valladolid, Spain), El Lagar de Moha is a family-run winery dedicated to organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Founded in 2018 by Alberto Moro and Angeles Ortega, the winery represents a lifelong dream for Alberto, whose winemaking heritage spans generations.

At El Lagar de Moha, sustainability and respect for nature are at the core of every decision. Their vineyards and wines are certified organic by the European Union, and they have taken their commitment a step further by obtaining the prestigious Demeter biodynamic certification—making them the first and only biodynamic vineyard in the Rueda D.O.

Their mission is clear: to craft exceptional wines through a sustainable and environmentally responsible approach. They employ natural treatments in their vineyards, ensuring the preservation of biodiversity and the integrity of the land.

Tradition is honoured through the retention of centuries-old viticultural practices, while cutting-edge techniques are embraced to enhance quality. El Lagar de Moha’s wines are also 100% vegan, free from any animal-derived products during the production process. With a philosophy rooted in trust, responsibility, and a deep connection to the land, they continue to produce wines that reflect their values and passion.
