Momvasía del Duero by Esteban Celemín is an extraordinary orange (or brisat) wine crafted from the rare Malvasía grape.

Sourced from a tiny, century-old plot of just 150 bush vines, this wine is a tribute to the history and integrity of a grape that once thrived in the region but has since been largely replaced by other varieties.

Esteban Celemín saw an opportunity to elevate the potential of Malvasía by allowing the grapes to ferment naturally on their skins for 60 days, which adds remarkable depth and texture to the wine. Afterwards, the wine was left to age for nearly a year in a single French oak barrel, resulting in a wine that is both complex and compelling.

This is not your typical orange wine. It offers an exceptional experience for those looking to rediscover the world of skin-contact whites. If previous encounters with orange wines left you hesitant, Momvasía del Duero is your perfect reintroduction.

With only a limited number of bottles available (just 360), this wine is a rare gem not to be missed.
