Sebastià Pastor's Llampant is a Brut Nature sparkling wine that has been made with the grape varieties Prensal Blanc (80%) and Chardonnay (20%).

The grapes were harvested by hand during the last week of August.

The cuvée is made from free-run juice, decanted by gravity.

Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 16ºC.  Afterwards, it remained with its lees for a minimum of three months before pressing.

A second fermentation took place in the bottle at a temperature of 10ºC, allowing for a slow fermentation and the creation of fine bubbles.

After about 12 months in the bottle, the wine was disgorged without the use of expedition liqueur.

Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:

  • Appearance: This sparkling wine has a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections.  There are also visible elegant fine bubbles.
  • Aromas: The aromas of apples and pears are reminiscent of the grape varietals used in this wine.  Notes of pastry can also be detected.
  • Palate: It is very pleasant, with balanced acidity.  Its long persistence and volume stand out.
  • Serving Temperature: The recommended serving temperature for this wine is between 6 and 8ºC.
